AFAIK, Apple hasn't shared any of their modifications to PF either. Nor for Raccoon, their VPN backend. Nor any other open source tools they use.

But they happily add bugs, obfuscate their changes, and then refuse to acknowledge someone can find them. Like with Raccoon. Or PF. Which is why I stopped using their products.

Apple is holy hell for everything honestly. They like to claim some Unix cred to keep developers in line, but they are honestly just bad for the community

When Apple made the switch from gcc to clang it was for the same reason. That was when I stopped using Apple products.

Apple as a corporation cares about absolutely nothing but their own profit and draconian control over all their products and users.
