Virtualbox troubles

Today I messed up # really badly!

This is the typical # issue!

I decided to share a same virtual machine between two users and it changed all the snapshots associated so random that it was impossible (for me) to repair the XML files associated, a nightmare, and eventually I used the last snapshot thinking to run the last state while it ran the first state instead and I ended up to export the VM again in order to merge the real disk with this snapshot...

And now I am reinstalling everything from the beginning, what a dumb! 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

I think I will never use snapshots again for a personal VM, it is more reliable just export the VM and keep this for any emergencies.

You could have made a dual boot machine.
Keeping Windows for just in case.
At the beginning my wife wouldn't Linux installed on this laptop, she said that we are surrounded by Linux computers at home, but eventually she agreed for a dual boot with Linux after the catastrophic experience with a kid and W10.
